Plan International Sweden’s (SNO)team for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL-team) , is looking for an intern. MEAL is an integrated part of all development cooperation work and is key to support relevant programmes with measurable goals and to make sure that programmes adapt based on what works and not. The MEAL team is a part of SNO’s _Department for Programme and Influenc e and work across the organisation with a focus on development of the methods used for measuring results and supporting learning and adaptations of the programmes, capacity development (trainings and coaching) as well as quality control of reports, external evaluations etc. We also provide technical support to the international programme’s project.
What the internship entails:
Plan International's MEAL team is looking for an intern for the autumn 2023 approximately between end of August and end of December (exact dates can be negotiated). The internship is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and can be done as a practical placement part of university studies. It is an unpaid internship. Plan International Sweden is based in Hammarbysjöstad, Stockholm and it is required to be at the office 2 days a week. As an intern you will get supervision and support in your tasks throughout the internship.
Typical task for the intern will consist of support the MEAL teams work with reading or writing reports, analysing results or support around trainings or workshops. The intern will support internal communication of programme results and/or internal work. As an intern you will get to know SNO’s overall programme work, as the MEAL team work closely with colleagues across the Programme department.

The internship is suitable for students of social sciences with a focus on for instance political science, international development cooperation, human rights, or children's rights, and also young academics who want more practical experience. You need to be enrolled at university, do the internship as part of a programme or be enrolled at the employment service (arbetsförmedlingen) and be insured through this programme/institution
