Senior Software Engineer

Because, when enterprises pivot to usage-based business models, they often make an unfortunate discovery. Their systems weren’t built to handle the massive data volumes and complexity that usage-based models generate. This causes them to leak revenue and respond too slowly to customer demand. DigitalRoute solves this by creating a real-time usage data layer for enterprises. Our products transform raw usage data into clear information for billing, in real time and at high scale.
What you'll do

You will be working in one of our great engineering teams, where people enjoy collaboration and will welcome you with open arms!

You will be working with large volumes of data and solving problems at scale where transaction safety and high throughput are key.

You will be building new features and solving problems in a cloud native, multi-tenant environment running on AWS, with top notch technologies such as Node, Typescript, Kubernetes and Kafka.

You will also be part of discussing and designing the software architecture for this very powerful SaaS product.

You will be part of shaping the future of our products. Our very large and often famous customers will already be waiting for the things that you produce!

You will of course learn, share, inspire and collaborate with skilled and amazing colleagues in globally distributed engineering teams.
What you'll bring

Strong and proven tech skills:
- Any of these : Node.JS, TypeScript, Java, or C.
- AWS, Azure or GCP + Kubernetes and containers.
- Microservice architecture & event-driven architecture.
- Databases (SQL/NoSQL) with large volumes of data and transactions.
- Kafka or some other distributed event streaming platform.

Software architecture & design.

Collaboration skills - helping and coaching.

Communication skills - we like active knowledge sharing.
Experience working with agile processes.
