Sales Director

Upsales is a SaaS company on a rapid growth journey. Our product enables sales and marketing teams find new leads, win more deals and grow existing accounts. Now, we're looking for an actionable Sales Director who will play a key role in driving ARR growth from the existing customer portfolio.

The opportunity

Upsales has grown 77 quarters in a row with profitability, and we have no plans of making exceptions to the rule. Upsales is one of few tech companies entirely free from debt and VC stakeholders. Our growth comes from new customers in a niche segment and expansions. The potential in our customer portfolio is massive, and we believe that ARR can be increased from the current 146M ARR to 500M SEK solely by expanding our existing customers. As our new Sales Director, you'll be steering the wheel towards making that happen.

Your job as Sales Director of Expansion Sales

As our new Sales Director, you'll lead, develop and build an expansion team of around ten people. You'll work with the team towards our strategic accounts, aiming to create high net growth after churn.

Our customers are in the mid-market segment, with about 100M to 1B SEK in revenue. Over the last few years, we've made significant investments in the product, and since our IPO in 2019, we've strengthened our brand, which has increased the demand from our most important customers.

Skills & Requirements

Who are you?

We believe that…

  • You have 5 years of experience running a sales team in the software industry.

  • You know enterprise sales from the inside out and have a proven track record of closing deals between 2 - 5 million SEK.

  • You have coached a team to win enterprise deals successfully.

  • You're hands-on in your leadership and work with active coaching by being helpful in sales meetings and closing dialogues.

  • You're incredibly business driven and capable of helping the product team and management to develop customer strategies, pricing, product direction and the overall offering.

The role is full-time and on-site at our new spacious office in Vasagatan 16, right across the street from Stockholm central station.
