SQL Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and raise queries on requirement/defects.
- Ensure all queries are and requirements/defects are resolved with support from Test Lead.
- Create Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
- Prepare / identify test data.
- Write SQL Queries to test data inputs and outputs.
- Provide Walkthrough to the business and dev team on test scenarios & test cases.
- Execute all test cases and upload quality results in approved Test management tool-ALM/QC/Jira/Zephyr.
- Update Test preparation, execution status in test management tool-ALM/QC/Jira.
- Deliver test deliverables as per assigned timelines and high quality.
- Raise defects, retest defects and ensure defects are resolved.
- Provide inputs on status and closure reports.
- Raise requests for support from dev teams and other stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements
Technical & Soft Skills:

5-10 years of software testing experience.

Experience of working with offshore team – MUST
- Good knowledge of financial markets.
- SQL – Advanced level (e.g. join queries).
- High Level understanding of Financial Regulations

Working knowledge of JIRA/Zephyr or other testing tools.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once.
Preferred -
ISTQB - Preferable. Or should aim to get certified soon.
