Facility Maintenance Engineer

Job scope:

This function will be responsible for overseeing maintenance on all facility installation and equipment as well as Land development and greenery. This includes new installation, upgrades, renovations, repairs, maintenance, inspections and replacement of any equipment in facility.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervision over safe and effective operation, preventive inspections, maintenance works, renovations, repairs, and proper functioning of the technical infrastructure of the facility (installations, technical systems, etc.).
  • Maintenance of areas including HVAC, electrical installations, pneumatic, compressed air installations, plumbing, fire protection installations, cleaning services, waste management, utility supply, area around the factory.
  • Supervision over the work of external subcontractors in the facility and quality control of services provided.
  • Control of the implementation of the maintenance plan
  • Undertaking corrective and operational interventions in the facility
  • Preparation of technical documentation of the building, installation and equipment and taking care of its completeness and timeliness
  • Maintaining the highest safety standards in facility maintenance, including ensuring compliance with relevant legal, industry and corporate regulations
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Manager

Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

  • B.Sc/Technician degree in technical area such as mechanical, electrical, automation or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance/erection of MEP installation
  • Knowledge of polish regulations and standards in the field building installation operation
  • Understanding and experience in operation of electrical, HVAC, sanitary installations
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Optimize maintenance programs for equipment
  • High work ethic, multi-tasker, strong analytical ability and attention to details, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Specific skills:

  • Electrical and/or HVAC, sanitary Knowledge (documentation , drawings)
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintanance knowldege
  • SEP G1 or and G2, G3

Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems.
