General Summary

Are you a super organised reading obsessive looking to take your first steps into the world of publishing?

We have an incredible opportunity to join the incredible Zaffre Publishing marketing team. This is a chance to get hands-on experience working in a busy department, and to learn all about the intricacies of book marketing.

You’ll be an invaluable member of our team, keeping us organised and on top of admin, whilst also contributing to marketing campaigns. You’ll be working on everything from sizzling literary fiction and intriguing true crime to some of the biggest and best-known author brands in the world.

We’re looking for an adaptable, highly motivated person who can demonstrate a clear interest in the publishing industry. You’ll be confident, keen to learn, a great communicator and – of course – have a deep love of stories and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

  • Admin support across a busy marketing department
  • Marketing mailouts / responsibility for post room
  • Social media scheduling and some content creation
  • Supporting and monitoring marketing activity
  • General admin such as processing invoices, mailings, updating databases and general reporting

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will:

  • A good communicator and team player with excellent written skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritise a busy workload with multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Great attention to detail
