Your day as an intern at Business Sweden
You will have a unique opportunity to gain insight into Business Sweden's organisation and the tasks and processes of the press team. During the internship, you will follow the Head of Media Relations and Press Secretary in their everyday work and gain an understanding of issues of varying nature and difficulty within the field. With support and guidance, you will also have your own tasks based on the organisation's needs and the focus of your education.
We offer an internship with a focus on PR and communication. You will follow the Head of Media Relations and participate in the work with varied tasks such as:
- Handle press inquiries (proactive and reactive) and find communication opportunities.
- Plan and conduct communication activities.
- Write press releases, newsletters and other various texts for our web and social media.
- Contribute to and develop our news program Business Sweden News.
- Monitor and analyse media activities.
Other tasks may also occur depending on the organisation's needs and the focus of your education.
Work with great people
Skills & Requirements
- You are studying at university to a BSc or MSc within Communication science, journalism, political science or related field
- Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with Photoshop, EpiServer, Cision and Meltwater is a plus

The internship period lasts for up to 20 weeks starting in the autumn term of 2023. Normally, the internship is carried out full-time during office hours.
