We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with testing focus to strengthen our quality work at Mentimeter. Here you will build and maintain the infrastructure that enables a high quality product through automated testing. You will also spread knowledge and provide mentoring on how to use the testing tools and methods you create. To succeed, we believe you have a strong interest in automated testing, applying a devops mindset to software engineering and working with a diverse group of engineers.
What you’ll do

You will be a part of our dedicated and engaged DevOps team, where you work closely together to enable our growing engineering craft to achieve their goals.
In your role you will be developing our testing infrastructure and tooling to suit our growing Product department needs. An even more important aspect of your work will be to help our 10 product teams to understand how to use the testing tooling in their quality work and mentor them on how to better test their code.
A quick look at our current testing setup:
Currently we have 250 end-to-end tests that run in under 60 seconds, and thousands of unit tests to back them up. Our testing stack is a combination of Jest tests, React Testing Library, Ruby/RSpec tests and Playwright tests. We deploy our Next.js apps and Ruby monolith to production 50 times a day using Github actions and Concourse.
Ideally you have:
Previous experience in creating and maintaining engineering tooling
Experience with several different kinds of automated testing
An interest in mentoring other engineers in becoming better at ensuring quality by testing
A big plus if you also have:
A background as a software engineer writing code in JavaScript or maybe other languages.
Experience with React testing / frontend testing
