To support the further growth of Zimpler we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our platform team as a Platform Engineer. Your main objective will be to help move Zimpler's platform and infrastructure to the next level.
This is what you’ll do
help move the platform forward with the rest of the platform team
help devs with troubleshooting
configure our service mesh to improve network resilience
perform upgrades, maintenance and general improvements
migrating the platform to a multi-account AWS setup
adopting the platform to meet dev teams requirements
improving our observability posture, providing instrumentation to the platform at large
provide continuous support within the organization
Our stack
This is what you're good at:
knowledge of Kubernetes & general cloud infrastructure
solid knowledge of AWS
experience with Terraform
familiarity with lower level components
familiarity with Postgres and Crossplane is a plus
enjoy reading code
capacity for self-teaching
great at communicating in different ways
big on teamwork and mutual trust
sysadmin experience
sharing ideas and technology
