As Marketing Manager for new business you are in the midst of this work and your main task is to break new ground and create attraction through top notch communication and brand activation.

You´re a curious communications pro that knows how to transform the essence of a brand and turn it into communication that makes a difference. Of course you also have digital dexterity and know-how.

You care about the planet and it´s inhabitants. After all there is no planet B. It´s also important for you to take care of your own wellbeing and to have good relation to your friends and family.

Main responsibilities in the role:

Create great communication for specific concepts and target audiences. Initiate, lead and follow up on various brand- and marketing activities, launches and projects to strengthen our brand, revenue and ways of working smart and efficient. Project management and community management.

  • Marketing planning, launches and campaigns.

  • SoMe activation.

  • Co-operations with other brands and influencers.

  • In-hotel communication (to ensure a 360 brand experience).

  • In-hotel brand activation and events.

  • Communications toolboxes development.

  • Part of planning & development processes for brand and marketing.

  • Activities to enhance and simplify our brand execution.

  • Brand carrier products projects.

  • Brand guidelines development projects.

  • Manage project budgets.

  • Project follow-ups.

  • Support to manager and the rest of the team.

Skills & Requirements


  • 5+ years of corresponding roles within brand- and marketing communications.
  • Experienced within digital- and social marketing.
  • Relevant post-secondary education.
  • Proven track record of successful project management.
  • Proven track record of cross-country collaboration and communication.
  • Experience of agile ways of working.
  • Experienced in digital and data-driven ways of working.
  • Strategic and tactical mindset in combination with operational skills.
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry (or similar) is meritorious.


  • Multifaceted creative skills and ability to transform the essence of a brand into communication that works in practice. Not only reaching out, but also reaching in.
  • A strong customer centric and commercial approach.
  • Structured, efficient and service driven.
  • Mature, transparent, trustworthy, and authentic even under pressure.

  • Curiosity and technical understanding within the MarTech field is meritorious.


  • Full-time position in the Scandic Group Brand & Marketing-team reporting directly to the Head of Group Brand & Marketing.
  • Office location: Scandic Headquarter at Sveavägen 167 in Stockholm, Sweden.
