Role and responsibilities
At Bonava our health and safety vision is “A healthy and safe workplace for everyone, everywhere and everyday”. In this role you would join the Health and Safety Team at group level and report to the Group Head of Health & Safety. In your daily work, you will work closely both with your team at the group level as well as with your Health & Safety colleagues in the local business units in the countries where Bonava operates. and work closely with the Group Head of Health and Safety.
Your main areas of responsibility would be:
Responsible for mapping and following up the global organisation’s Health and Safety work and monitoring the implementation of the Health and Safety strategy that is set for 2026. This includes gap analysis, risk management and change management.
Supporting the Business Units in their Health and Safety work and fostering a culture of care. This work includes identifying learning and coaching needs and setting learning and education programs as needed for the individual Business Units. Including for example learning from incidents and things done right, benchmarking with external organiszations and companies as well as utilizing learnings and best practices from across Bonava.
Project Manager for Global Initiatives. You will be the first point of contact for new initiatives from the Group Head of Health and Safety, the Health and Safety Council and other internal decision makers and you will lead such project implementations.
Responsible for the coordination of the Health and Safety legal compliance for the group. This work involves having a birds-eye view of the Health and Safety compliance legislation applicable to the group and to work together with the local experts in the different jurisdictions that Bonava operates to ascertain adherence and compliance.
In this role you will report directly to the Group Head of Health and Safety and work from Bonava’s modern offices in Stockholm at Lindhagensgatan 72. For the right person, there is flexibility to be based at the office in Helsinki or possibly other Bonava offices.
This role requires frequent travel.
Bonava’s policy on remote working allows for 50% remote work.

An academic degree within a relevant area.
Solid experience of working with Health and Safety change management and implementation gained from the construction or industrial sector, preferably in an international context.
You have experience from, and a keen interest in, building relationships and fostering work cultures.
Professional level English in speech and writing. Knowledge in German and/or Finnish is qualifying.
Experience from leading trainings as well as incident investigations, risk management and auditing from a coaching and learning perspective. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation applicable to the construction industry.
Communicative with the ability to engage people and build relationships.
Persistence with a strong drive for improvement and development.
