Project Manager

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for Project Manager to join our Northvolt Systems family with the mission of building state-of-the-art manufacturing site of battery modules and energy storage systems.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for leading projects in the field of Expansion and Sustainability, that result in lowering of carbon footprint of operations of NVSP and broader expansion of NVSP across businesses and location. You will be planning and executing works progress, driving selected expansion projects to ensure timely delivery and cost effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and fulfilment of designated project budget in line with the project’s scope
  • Delivering the project scope through cross functional development and tracking of the cross functional project timelines
  • Close cooperation with stakeholders to coordinate the work progress
  • Meet manufacturing schedules in reference to customer project timelines
  • Reporting the progress of the project, close cooperation with everyone in the organization in order to prepare for the start of production
  • Support Business development in Customer project reviews and audits.
  • Capturing risks and preparing mitigation plans

Education/Experience

  • Knowledge of Construction, Supply Base Management, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • 5+ years in project management in industrial companies
  • Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple, often time-sensitive requests.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills
  • Master's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Operations Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Project/Program management tool kit including scheduling and project leadership
  • Must have worked in multi-cultural environment

Specific Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent English written and oral skills, Polish is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • Highly execution-oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong skills as communicator, both internally as well as externally to suppliers

We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
