We are now looking for a Senior Content Manager to our marketing department, who will play a pivotal role in helping us develop and implement our content marketing strategy, and lead a cross functional team of content creators (we have content creator roles in several teams; Enterprise marketing, Product marketing, Brand, and Paid/organic growth). Content is a vital part of Mentimeters marketing mix and we produce film, copy, text and design for our web, SoMe, blogs, ads, campaigns, webinars and more.

You’ll define and align our messaging to maximize the impact of a multichannel strategy, and ensure we have the right kind of content and message in each channel, targeting the right audience.

You’ll collaborate closely with several functions within the marketing department to ensure our content strategy builds brand awareness, trust, and interest in our products, as well as contribute to lead development.

This role reports to our Director of Brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a cross-functional team of content creators. Collaborate closely with Marketing line managers and internal stakeholders to ensure a full funnel content strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, retention, and leads

  • Develop and implement the company's content strategy, creating clarity in the purpose and objectives of each channel

  • Oversee and align full mix multi-channel marketing content, and set up a content plan and calendar with themes/topics. Lead bi-weekly meetings

  • Implement the necessary processes for a smooth production flow

  • Senior advisor to our content creators (mainly writers), and their go-to person for guidance in strategic thinking and creative work (together with Director of Brand)

  • Ensure that we make the best use of our internal resources, both in terms of time and skills

  • Together with the Brand team, be the driving force for creating and ensuring a strong and credible brand

  • Set a distribution strategy together with Director of paid media

  • Responsible for continuously measuring, analyzing and evaluating results and ensuring ROI

Skills & Requirements


  • We think you probably have at least 7-8 years hands-on relevant experience from a similar content role, and at least 2 years of managing a team or cross-functional team.

  • You are comfortable in developing and implementing a full funnel content strategy and a strong drive to test and explore new trends.

  • Experience in paid media is an advantage.

  • A strategic mindset but still eager to sometimes roll up your sleeves and be hands-on when needed. We want someone who brings in inspiration and a willingness to experiment.

  • Is familiar with the most common tools for measuring, monitoring and optimizing content

  • Experience of working with a global SaaS brand / product led sales is a bonus

Not required in this role

You don't have to know Swedish (daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently consists of over 40 different nationalities!)
