Team Lead - Finland 🇫🇮

Who we are
Since our start in 2017 we have provided smart tools that help put financial power back in the hands of the people – where we believe it belongs. Everything we do is based on one vision: to improve the financial health of our users.

So far, we’ve helped Swedes, Norwegians, Finns and Germans save millions by refinancing expensive consumer credits. But we aim higher. New tools, new products and new ways of improving people’s financial lives. This means we need more brains and hearts to fuel our growth. That is why we are currently searching for our Team Lead for our Finnish operations team.

What you will be doing
Finland was the second market that Anyfin entered and has long played an important role in fueling our continued growth. As Team Lead for the team that caters to the finnish market you will be responsible for a group of people that handles customer contact, credit assessment, applications as well as AML related issues in relation to our Finnish users. You will also be tasked with continuously developing core processes in cooperation with other departments across Anyfin, such as Engineering, Product and Marketing.

Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will train and develop team members by following up on KPIs and SLAs, hosting daily stand-ups and offering support in their daily work. It might seem straightforward and in some ways it is, yet in others it isn’t. Due to the nature of the work you and your team will often be the first escalation point when we try new product features, roll out completely new products to the Finnish market and/or make changes that have unintended consequences. This means that you have to be able to coordinate input from your team and make sure that you work together with internal stakeholders to address any challenges in a timely manner.

Who you are
We could have a long paragraph about quality assurance, co-listening and coaching but the fact is that if you are the right person for the job, these things are second nature to you so we will just leave all of that stuff for when we meet you in person.

As an individual, you are structured and have an easy time making the complex graspable for those around you. You enjoy having tangible impact on business results and you thrive in an environment where people have high expectations and an even higher ambition. Most importantly, you grow by growing others. When we call your references, they will tell us about your approachable personality that you combine with laser focus in order to get the job done.

We would like to see a track record of delivering excellent results in a fast pace environment where you have led people and/or teams towards joint goals before. Moreover we would love to see evidence of the following when we review your application:

  • A university degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Fluent Finnish speaker (we know but you would be surprised how many people there are that don’t believe that would be a necessity…)
  • Previous experience working with credit oriented products towards the Finnish market as well as a good understanding of the Finnish regulatory landscape in the credit market

Our journey so farOur journey so far

2017Founded; Sven, Filip and Mikael got together in a small room in Stockholm, figuring out how to help people with their finances in the best way.

2018We were publically launched with our first product - Refinancing. Our Series A investment round of 47 million SEK was secured and we started growing.

2019Time to explore markets outside of Sweden - Finland is launched! We also moved to our current office on Drottninggatan in Stockholm. On top of that we secured our second investment round (Series A+) of 80 million SEK.

2020We launched several new products; Credit Block, The bridge, Monthly Economy and Subscriptions. We also doubbled in size from 40 to 80 employees and got our Series B investment of 300 million SEK.

2021We broadened our scope and launched Anyfin in Germany. We grew to 130 employees. Our fourth investment, Series B+ of 450 million SEK.

2022We became 180 employees and went live in Norway! We launched Savings and Bill Smoothing. Opened our German office and got our Series C investment of 320 million SEK.
