SAP Test Manager

Sogeti Ireland are looking for a SAP S4HanaTest Manager with 9+ years’ experience in testing across differing SDLC/STLC models, platforms and architectures. The candidates should have experience of working within SAP testing teams, 2 + years’ experience of leading testing teams for SAP ERP implementation, experience of one or more testing methodologies and exposure to different software development lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall.

Key Responsibilities

Manage relationships with senior stakeholders – coordinate work between different teams at different locations.

Determine the project test approach – scope, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.

Develop and manage RAID Log for Test throughout the project lifecycle

Measure, monitor, and report test progress to ensure that test phases are delivered on time and that it meets expectations.

Ensure that project follows the BDM process for all Test Phases – retain all Test Artefacts as necessary and passing all quality control reviews.

Ensure relevant signoffs are obtained for each test phase and supporting documentation.

Co-Ordinate testing throughout all Test Phases – System Testing, System Integration Testing, NFT testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing etc.

Collaborate with the functional, data migration and business teams ensuring that they execute their testing to a high standard in accordance with best practices

Establish and manage run test meetings (Daily Test Stand-up, UAT Test Meetings) with relevant project stakeholders

Essential experience:

Previous experience in managing and co-ordinating all aspects of UAT - having had full responsibility for managing the Test engagement with senior business stakeholders.

Previous Test management experience within large multi-year programmes with multiple interdependent work streams.

Should have good understanding of all or one of the SAP modules - SAP Finance, Procurement Management, Warehouse Management and Order Management

Should have understanding of Month End/Period End Closing process

Should have understanding of New GL and S4 HANA
- Proficiency in developing Test Scenarios, Test Scripts for various Test cycles
- Should be able to run SAP S4Hana QA testing activities independently
- Good to have knowledge in Fiori Apps, Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Launchpad Designer configuration & feature, and Fiori application types
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes
- Should have worked upon test management tool like Solution Manager, Micro Focus ALM (HP ALM).
- Should be able to create Integrated Test Plans including E2E integration testing
- Experience in SAP Central Finance is a plus
- Should have good problem-solving skills
- Should be able to go through functional specs, business requirement documents to understand test scope and write test cases
- Excellent Communication Skills so that can directly interact with client
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s Degree in IT related discipline * Preferably Test Management qualifications, e.g. ISTQB / ISEB, TMAP, CEPTA, etc.
