Account Support, Government
As our Account Support, you would be responsible for working closely with the account management team to support the portfolio of Government clients in Japan. This position partners with the Account Managers and supports different portfolios in the Government sector.
You will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Meltwater’s products and are responsible for driving engagement and adoption through all stages of the client’s life cycle.
In this role, you will report to the Managing Director of Enterprise Client Success.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for an assigned Government portfolio of clients that are shared with the Account Managers
Create a trusted relationship with each client and drive value with our products
Execute programs to drive product adoption and client satisfaction with continuous client contact
Conduct business reviews to track the health of accounts, listen to customer feedback and outline areas of improvement
Proactively identify issues that may impact product engagement and resolve with assistance from internal stakeholders
Track client’s usage of and activity level on our platforms to monitor the health / risk status of your accounts
Conduct client training to ensure new users are up to speed on the Meltwater platform
Work closely with your Meltwater team to solve project challenges and design effective solutions which impact the Government client base
Identify key media issues in the Government landscape with the aim of identifying new opportunities to engage with the client base
Who You Are:
Currently based in or willing to relocate to Tokyo area
Native level in Japanese (JLPT N1) and fluent in English
1 – 3 year of relevant work or internship experience across account management, digital insights, media / PR relations, or client/customer success for government clients
Affinity or interest in government affairs and driving the digital transformation initiatives for the government sector
Good business acumen and a regular consumer of news related to media, politics, government, or international affairs
Passionate about building relationships along with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to think outside the box and adopt a solution-oriented approach to solve problems for clients
