Government Strategic Advisor, Enterprise
Government customers demand highly skilled resources who are readily available for supporting and consulting needs. The Strategic Advisor will be focused on accelerating solution adoption across the enterprise portfolio by eliminating implementation, technical or communications silos. They will understand customer personas and use cases and work with the client to build and execute on strategies, identify and resolve issues before they have downstream impact and apply agile methodologies to help customers react to unplanned events. This will all incorporate developing and managing methodologies that can be applied across all Government accounts and that customers can also apply internally to these challenges.
The Strategic Advisor will have access to a global ecosystem of skilled and expert resources to ensure success. Operational excellence, revenue growth and profitability are key themes and expected outcomes of the Strategic Advisor customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Account Executives and Directors, Client Success, Implementation, Product and Global Product Support organizations;
Become a trusted advisor and partner to key business and technical decision makers
Understand in detail the customers operational and strategic goals both immediate and longer term and work with customers to achieve their goals over time by providing proactive and timely advice and guidance
Develop relationships with business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation by understanding their primary business goals and priorities
Leveraging industry and product best practices to further develop use cases and ROI
Design and implement monthly review and planning sessions for the customer
Liaison into Meltwater Product Support, Engineering, Product and Services, including project managing Premium Support purchased by the customer
Provide operational support alongside a global ecosystem of skilled and expert resources with the goal of delivering superior client experience to our Government clients, and understanding the lived experiences of our products and solutions in the market
Advocate for innovation, product, and services adoption
Identify and resolve potential issues before they cause downstream impact
Act as an advocate for the customer during triage of high severity issues
Qualifications:
Experience of working in Government business domain area; ideally of larger scale implementations and associated challenges within the industry
Native level in Japanese (or JLPT N1) and fluent in English
Strong Boolean and Data Structuring understanding
Proven ability to understand business problems, apply strong analytical skills and create an effective solution strategy
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Skills in both analyzing technical concepts and translating them into business terms, and for mapping business requirements into technical features or services
Experience of working in Government business domain area
A good understanding of SDLC and software design methodologies
A good understanding of cloud computing and architecture concepts, including APIs
Additional languages would be a benefit but not a requirement
