About the role
We are looking for a curious UX/UI Designer for our product teams in Aarhus or Oslo to create value for our users and large merchants within retail, services and online shopping. In this role you will help millions of people no matter age or disability to shop, donate or log in to different webshops and physical stores in Finland, Denmark and Norway. You will work with super-friendly colleagues in all our offices — Oslo, Vilnius, Århus, Copenhagen and Helsinki. 🇩🇰🇱🇹🇫🇮🇳🇴
All together we are 20 designers in Vipps MobilePay, specialised in different domains and product teams. Together we are responsible for making our products and services easy and loveable. We meet up weekly in design syncs to share, learn and work on solutions and challenges together. Our team culture is built on open communication, constructive feedback, and a passion for designing outstanding digital products. Skills & Requirements
- Years of experience designing interactive applications
- Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills with a user-centered mindset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Scandinavian (Either Norwegian, Swedish or Danish)
What you’ll do :

Solve problems together with your team and come up with improvements that ship quickly and with high quality (We love Figma)

Use and evolve our internal design system, making sure we work smart and consistent

Usability test all your flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to ensure we create value to our users

Collaborate closely with our engineers and front-end developers to ensure a high-quality implementation

Work cross-functionally with engineers and product managers to identify user needs
About you
You care deeply about our users and believe great user experiences should be accessible for all. With one foot in UX and the other in UI, you have a keen eye for details and solid experience with crafting products and services people love. Translating user needs and behaviors into pixel perfect designs comes natural to you, because you involve people around your early and have a passion for design and figuring out best-in-class solutions to UX, UI, and interaction challenges. Keeping up to date with new trends and technology, inspires you to think through complex interaction design and enable you to express your ideas early in visuals and prototyping.
