Controller BeLux

We are now looking for a Controller SSC for the Shared Services operations in Belgium and Luxemburg. As a Controller SSC you will be based in Diegem (Belgium). Under Capgemini’s flexible working policy, you have the ability to partially work from home.

The SSC covers several support functions e.g. Finance, HR, Marketing & Communication, that provide essential support to all divisions in our company. As the Controller SSC you will play a key role working closely with the functional Department Heads by delivering reliable reporting and budgeting insights and providing finance expertise on local activities. You report to the Finance Director and are supported by one person offshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Budget/Forecast/Actuals reporting cycle.
  • Manage the month end reporting submission in HFM and additional disclosures ensuring accuracy and data quality.
  • Monthly financial analysis and reporting to the Departments to enable decision making.
  • Ensuring that SSC Chargeback processes are effective, timely and transparent to the service requestors in the business as well as to the Department Heads. Strive for simplification and efficiency in the operation of SSC Chargeback.
  • Assisting in the production and preparation of business plans.
  • Overseeing the annual budget for SSC departments: liaising with Department Heads/Operations Managers as appropriate and overseeing the input of the data into a concise reporting model.
  • Participating in various ad hoc (international) projects.
  • Other ad-hoc matters as required in support of the Finance Director or Group Controlling.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance.
  • Advanced in Excel, experience with HFM is a plus.
  • Professional communication skills in English, Dutch and French.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Agile, and able to multitask in a complex context and meet deadlines.
