Job Description
We are seeking a driven and passionate professional to join our team as a Technical Director. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop relationships with client Technology teams, shape client work, and identify new ways to add impact and consultancy services. With a focus on continuous improvement, team coaching, and hypothesis development and testing, this role is perfect for a technical leader with a passion for delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop trusted relationships with client Technology teams and stakeholders

Shape client work by ensuring clients and teams are working towards inspiring Technology visions and architectures

Identify new opportunities to add customer and consultancy impact

Ensure continuous improvement and excellent quality in all delivery streams

Coach the technology team members to maximize their abilities and growth

Remove technology blockers and identify and resolve bottlenecks
-
Proactively engage in pitches and proposals, spotting new business opportunities

Identify the key architecture routes forward and clarify the roadmap
Skills & Requirements

Client Partnership: You develop trusted client relationships, working with clients to coach and advise them and their Technology teams. You are able to speak to high up stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.

Umain/ARC Collaboration: You work with your ARC/Umain colleagues to achieve the goals for your accounts and clients

Capability Engagement: You collaborate with others in the Technology department to help the department achieve its goals, to build the Technology community, and to shape culture and strategies

Solution Architecture : You ensure that we create the best technical solution for our clients within the areas of mobile, web and ecommerce. You bring deep technical knowledge of all parts of the solutions.

Team Coaching: You work 1:1 with coachees, coaching them according to their growth plan, maximise their abilities and growth, and maintain a constructive feedback culture

Client Expertise: You understand the client’s business, and factor this into proposed technical solutions

Quality Control You ensure high quality delivery across projects in every Technology aspect

Operational Effectiveness: You remove technology blockers from your teams, identify and resolve bottlenecks

Hypothesis Development & Testing: you can identify the key opportunities and solution options, simplifying things down to testable chunks, and systemically testing them.

Enable New Business & Sales: You proactively engage in pitches & proposals, spotting opportunities, defining solution options, assessing viability, and building recommendations

Roadmapping: you can identify the key architecture routes forward and clarify what to do now, next, and in the future.
