Now, we're seeking a talented UX designer to join our product teams, focusing on the crucial process of identifying and verifying merchants' and users' identities.
About the teams:
The Merchant Identity team are on a mission of simplifying secure logins and user management for Vipps merchants. As a team we are the digital bouncers of the merchant-nightclub, by preventing troublemakers to enter and making sure people are not doing things they shouldn’t. We seek UX-designers who loves how their work improve peoples lives and want to take it a step further by joining us in pulling off the impossible of make our solutions both super secure and very, very easy to use.
Most of our daily discussions revolve around the rabbit hole that is Authentication and Authorisation.
The Merchant KYC (Know Your Customer) team is in the line of defense against the bad guys trying to sneak their way into our company, and we need your help to make sure we stay one step ahead. As a UX-designer on the KYC team, you’ll be responsible for creating intuitive and visually stunning interfaces that will make our merchant onboarding process a breeze. Your designs will help us maintain our high standards for KYC compliance, all while keeping our merchants and employees happy and smiling.
We work as empowered product teams, doing lightweight processes to experiment and learn, constantly changing out things that do not work and work together to solve hard problems. We love colleauges who speak their mind, are curious and don't wait passively for help.
Skills & Requirements
As a product team UX designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences that meet the needs of our users. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, translating user requirements into user-centered design solutions. Key responsibilities include designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring design consistency and quality, conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, and staying up-to-date with design trends and technologies.
About you
To thrive in this role, you're highly self-reliant, able to take initiative and rally others around your design vision. You possess strong knowledge of the entire UX design process, from discovery and research to design, testing, and implementation. Some technical knowledge and the ability to work closely with both front-end and back-end developers are also advantageous.
Skils and requirements:
- 4+ years of experience designing interactive applications
- Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills with a user-centered mindset
- Experience with Figma
- Knowledge of design systems and design thinking methodology
- We value effective written and verbal communication skills in English, and fluency in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) is a plus.
