Northvolt‘s journey started in Västerås, Sweden with Northvolt Labs, a prototyping factory already in operation. The first phase of giga-factory - Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå is being constructed and soon up and running serial production, while further expansion project has already kicked off. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start, building the landscape of first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play a significant role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

We have a pretty awesome job offer for a Senior or Lead Developer within our excellent and passionate Planning and Logistics Team at Northvolt. You'd be located in Stockholm, report to the Sr Manager, Planning and Logistics, and have the opportunity to contribute to securing Northvolt’s successful growth in Sweden and beyond.

Your primary assignment will be to drive key, interdepartmental projects, pulling together stakeholders from across the Northvolt landscape, both within Supply Chain, as well as beyond. Everything we do is new and at Northvolt we do it for the first time - we need your help. You will regularly also find yourself assisting your colleagues as a special agent, deployed to a task force. Like James Bond, but minus the gun and the Martini.

We:

In broad terms and without going into too much detail, Team Planning and Logistics looks after everything that moves or needs to be stored. Before it does, we also need to do quite a bit of planning.

Our job is :

  • To support Northvolt’s mission, growth and expansion with quality planning and logistics design
  • To build a scalable operational and organisational framework, within which Northvolt units execute and
  • To enable a sustainable, resilient and efficient supply chain

You:

Do you believe that change is the only constant? Are you passionate about helping people and teams to adapt to different systems and processes of which you have led and/or contributed to design and develop?

We would like you to have a broad background withing Planning and Logistics and an excellent understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain, but with solid experience in leading and implementing systems solutions supporting the business as well as driving change management processes/PLM work, preferable withing the automotive industry.

We therefore see that you are a skilled and experienced project manager who understands that a company like Northvolt will face challenges, twists and turns that requires an open mind and humbleness to changing needs - where experience like yours could really make a difference. The projects you'd be running, together with cross functional resource, stretch beyond one type, mode, or direction of flow. What you do not know today, you are extremely self motivated to deep dive and learn about, to become the subject matter expert of tomorrow!

Together with the Team, in your job you will:

Master Data & Change Management/PLM

About the company

Northvolt makes green batteries for a blue planet. Affordable cells and high-quality battery systems. All manufactured with a record-low carbon footprint. Purposely built to provide Europe with the opportunity to switch to renewable energy – efficiently and entirely.

To accomplish this, we do things differently. We design, manufacture, and recycle everything under one roof. We even build our own factories. All this is incredibly challenging and requires us to think in unconventional ways. We’re constantly experimenting, learning and adapting to make batteries so great – they will one day make oil history.

Northvolt is growing fast. We’re staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs, in Västerås, as well as our Gdansk facility for production of battery systems. We're also hiring for our gigafactory Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå, Sweden. We want to work with smart individuals from all disciplines. Strong individuals that truly want to make a positive impact on the future. Those of us already on board share a passion for our mission. We’re prepared to work hard in pursuit of excellence. We enjoy the ride and our main drive is to make a difference for real. As a team, we’re dedicated to thinking new, working hard and having fun.
