Mission
Our mission and passion is simple - To be the undisputed global leader in sustainable inspirational adventure travel — a catalyst for change towards a greener travel industry.
What we're looking for
As part of our next stage of global growth, we are seeking people to strengthen our digital solutions. We are looking for a talented Marketing Cloud Developer to help us deliver a strategically vital Salesforce CDP implementation and to help us operationalise a wealth of first-party data. In addition, you will use your awesome SQL skills and knowledge of SFMC Data Views and data models to bring new insight and opportunities into the business. Working across business and IT departments, you will be comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from across a range of markets including the UK, US, Germany, Norway, and Australia.
You will be joining a Salesforce team that works as a distributed team across Europe and beyond on the Salesforce Customer 360 platform. We have an exciting and ambitious Marketing Cloud roadmap with an ever-growing remit and backend team. In the upcoming 18 months, we will advance our 1st party data availability, build new contact strategy models, redesign our Business Units in Marketing Cloud, increase the number of channels we use towards the customer, and adopt an always-on, customer journey-first approach.
You need to:
Be independent, self-motivated, eager to learn, able to adopt best practice decisions, and contribute to managing the best practice model.
Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to judge and respond appropriately to the dynamics of a group situation. People-skilled individuals can ask questions, listen intently, and understand the impact of their words and actions.
Be a humble team player focused more on others’ successes than their own, and strive for collective success rather than individual recognition.
Be able to work independently and solve problems with minimal guidance from management.
Your day-to-day:
Serve as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and its Data Architecture subject matter expert.
Develop and support our Salesforce CDP & Marketing Cloud data environments and integrations, including audience segmentation, data models, journey builder, and synchronised & shared data extensions.
Design and build contact models to maximise customer contact and personalization opportunities.
Design and build advanced Salesforce CDP target segments and calculated insights.
Design, build, and document applications to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data between Salesforce Marketing Cloud & corporate data platforms like Azure, SQL Server, Databricks, and other data platforms.
Collaborate with Data Platform team, Sales and Service Cloud, Booking platform, Versonix Seaware, and other data sources on corporate platforms to understand and enable new marketing capabilities.
Partner with core Power BI and Reporting Teams to produce new actionable insights for our commercial and marketing teams.
