We are looking for a driven Interface Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Cathode Active Material team based in Skelleftea. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up US2 and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

As part of the US2 Project Controls Team, to develop, manage and coordinate the Interface Management for the US2 Project. Coordinating all of the Internal and External interfaces with the various delivery teams.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as the interface focal point for the Program, including the direct counterparty to the EPCM interface manager.
  • Execute and manage the US2 interfaces in line with the plan, managing and being responsible for all interface issues co-ordination within the program
  • Map the US2 program interfaces for all stakeholders, including the EPCM contractor, NV proprietary equipment vendors, Phase II Utilities & Production programs and the wider NV Ett site
  • Develop an Interface Management plan for the program from Engineering through to Operation

  • Set-Up, facilitate Interface Meetings with affected/involved parties as required to manage interfaces, negotiating interface conditions, and ensuring that they are correctly represented in scopes and commercial agreements.

  • Develop Interface Control Documentation / Registers for individual interfaces, work packages and handshakes.
  • Develop an interface tracking system or database, and/or implement a standard system to manage interface status tracking and reporting
  • Actively monitor interface requests: expediting requests and open/update/close requests on behalf of the team
  • Serve as Program liaison between delivery teams, contractor and other project points of contact and stakeholders.
  • Inform and escalate through the project team interface issues and potential impact

Skills & Requirements

What we look for:

  • MS Office skills are a requirement, (excel).
  • Experience of Interface Management a significant benefit
  • Engineering background

  • Fluency in English

  • Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
