Sr. Test Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise in the provision of leadership and direction of a multi-disciplinary Quality
  • Assurance Team across simultaneous ICT projects.
  • Test Planning, Test Reporting, Test Metrics, Stakeholder Management.
  • Management of QA skills transfer and process knowledge to Contracting Authority staff or non-Tenderer staff working on the Test Team or the development project alongside the external resources.
  • Project financial awareness
  • Strong stakeholder management The Test Life Cycle (Planning, Preparation, Specification, Execution, Completion)
  • Test Management tools e.g. JIRA, Micro Focus ALM
  • SQL, Database, API and Mobile testing

Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager Certification and / or Prince 2 Project Management Certification or equivalent
  • 12 Plus Years Testing experience with 7 Plus in Test Manager role.
  • Knowledge of ALM & JIRA for managing defects & requirements
  • Experienced in Agile Methodology and knowledge of BDD Cucumber
  • Knowledge of SQL queries for Reports & testing against different databases, experience in Managing Big Data Testing
  • Experienced in managing Test Automation projects
  • Knowledge of Azure / Google Cloud, AWS and cloud testing experience
  • Experienced in Estimations, Test Approach, handling team, end to end STLC
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen ability to work with all parties with a view of getting the job done in a co-operative fashion
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills with the ability to provide clear metrics and report on test progress and defect position
  • Ability to identify blocking issues and manage and escalate to right level where required
  • Ability to take ownership of Test Management for component parts of a wider overall solution, working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within an overall Programme Test Strategy while managing the test delivery of a component solution based on a specific Test Approach
  • Solid experience in integration & interfaces test management
  • Experience working with Business SMEs for different test phases
  • Good knowledge on end-to-end complex data conversions, transformation logics and data modelling
  • Expertise in implementation of a corporate QA standard across a team or multiple teams
  • Proven expertise of the delivery of best practice Quality Assurance by setting direction for test process and documentation. Proven experience of management of the QA element on concurrent projects and identifying and implementing quality process improvements
  • Proven experience of management of the vendor resources to maximise delivery across multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Test Automation tools e.g. Selenium, Appium, UFT, Tosca
  • Knowledge of Test Performance tools e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner/StormRunner Load
