Sword Services Greece is seeking to recruit a high caliber individual to join our international Software Development team as an Application Developer. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment, supporting our client's core business in large-scale complex IT Systems. As an Application Developer, you will play a key role in driving the successful implementation of new features, bug fixing, and continuous improvements to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
What you will do...
- Lead the maintenance and improvement of currently developed features;
- Improvement of the workflows, features and bug fixing;
- UI improvements;
- Coding improvements following best practices;
- Integration with other client's applications;
- Lead the maintenance/developments of new reports;
- Maintain all the technical documentation;
- Be involved in requirement gathering meetings and training sessions for final users;
- Work on integrations with other systems;
- Lead the maintenance and improvement of applications:
- Bug fixes
- New features
- Improvements
- Configuration
- Security Updates
- Integration
- 3rd Party Library Maintenance
- Migration to SharePoint 2019
- Documentation
- Performance of any other activities in the scope of maintenance, implementation and bug fixing for .Net and SharePoint based applications
What is your experience...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field (i.e. Engineering);
- Minimum 6 year of relevant professional experience;
- .NET framework, and for SharePoint 2013 and 2019
- SQL server database structures, T-SQL, programming using SQL Server stored procedures, and development of SSIS packages
- SharePoint, PowerShell and SharePoint Management Shell, as well as the different out of the box web parts and their functionality, InfoPath Form Services and SharePoint Designer
- Translation of a final design into a finished web presence
- Atlassian suite of applications
- RESTful web APIs
- Web development and Web design, including JSON, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS
- Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.
Experience in the following will be considered as an asset:
- PHP and JavaScript for Drupal tailoring and specific functionality
- SharePoint Online
- Azure
