As we continue to expand and grow our business in the QE&T space, an opportunity exists for an experienced and ambitious person who wants to be at the forefront of using our core offerings to bring exceptional value to new clients. As Technical Sales Lead for the QE&T portfolio, you will be responsible for showcasing the offerings and talent within our portfolio and bringing them together to create compelling solutions for prospective customers. You will be technically strong, able to establish credibility quickly, driven, disciplined and curious with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Business Development and Account Management teams to help identify new opportunities for the offerings associated with the QE&T portfolio in both existing and new clients
  • Participating in sales meetings to help articulate the technical and functional characteristics of our offerings, what makes them different from our competitors and how they add value for prospective clients
  • Listening to prospective customers’ needs and matching those against our offerings to create compelling custom proposals
  • Leveraging and coordinating the specialist technical talent which exists within the portfolio and coaching them as to how to use that knowledge in their interactions with prospective customers on specific sales opportunities
  • Successfully responding to formal tenders by designing solutions which make best use of our offerings to match the customer’s requirements
  • Ensuring those solutions are articulated effectively in formal written responses through impactful written contributions and the ability to coordinate and improve written inputs from others
  • Working with our Offering Managers to continuously improve our offerings based on what we are seeing as customer requirements and needs through our pre-sale’s activities
  • Create & Identify opportunities by closely working with existing accounts stakeholders
  • Introduce new capabilities, tools in existing accounts
  • Contribute to the growth of QET portfolio and ensuring high resource utilisation always by proactively identifying opportunities across different skill set including but not limited to automation, performance, ETL, functional and technical specialist roles.

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to build a rapport and trust quickly with an audience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Financial awareness
  • Credibility when it comes to discussing implementation approaches in support of the core offerings of the portfolio
  • Previous experience of implementing solutions in the following areas:
    • Agile / DevOps QA offering
    • API Testing offering
    • SAP / S4HANA
    • Cloud Services
    • Cyber Security Services
    • Automation Services
  • Innate ability to use your own initiative and to work towards targets for winning new business for the portfolio
  • Ability to earn and maintain the trust of other SMEs within the portfolio for mutually beneficial working relationships
  • Ambition to be a thought leader in the QE&T market in Ireland
  • Qualification and Skill required
    • Bachelors or master’s degree
    • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager Certification and / or Prince 2 Project Management Certification or equivalent
    • 10 Plus Years Testing experience with 7 Plus in Test Manager role.
    • SQL, Database, API and Mobile testing
    • Knowledge of Azure / Google Cloud, AWS and cloud testing experience
    • Experienced in Estimations, Test Approach, handling team, end to end STLC
    • Test Management tools e.g. JIRA, Micro Focus ALM
    • Knowledge of Test Automation tools e.g. Selenium, Appium, UFT, Tosca
    • Knowledge of Test Performance tools e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner/StormRunner Load
