We are looking for a talented Senior Tech Lead with a passion for sustainability and technology to join our team at Team Transaction, part of the Recommerce area at Schibsted Nordic Marketplaces (NMP/Blocket).

In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable web and Kafka-based services using Python. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient customer and user experience and for developing the team's product strategy in line with the latest digital-driven trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our transactional services.

• Ensure smooth and efficient customer and user journeys.

• Mentor and lead a team of Full Stack Developers.

• Design systems with scalability and flexibility in mind.

• Collaborate with the team to improve software quality using Scrum practices such as code review and unit testing.

• Stay current with the latest technology trends and bring new ideas to the team.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in building and maintaining high-quality, scalable web applications.

• Strong proficiency with Python (must), and experience with at least one other programming language (Java, Kotlin, ReactJS, etc.).

• Expertise in AWS (must) or other cloud platform ecosystems.

• A collaborative attitude and a strong sense of ownership.

• Experience leading and mentoring teams of Full Stack Developers.

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.

• Knowledge of cloud-native technology and architecture.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
