Help build Hurtigruten to become the preferred Expedition supplier among Americas distribution partners to the destinations we sail. Support relationships with trade partners to facilitate opportunities to drive sales. Work with Head of Sales, National Accounts and Regional Sales Managers to execute their business plans. Represent Hurtigruten at events and workshops.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Assist the territory BDMs, Sales Directors, National Accounts & Head of Sales in supporting our Travel Advisor Partners, which can include but not limited to:
Preparation and distribution of sales reports at an agency, national account and consortia level
Follow up on new partners recently registered in Salesforce/B2B Portal; tracking of our Certified Specialists training program Agent Portal; monthly maintenance of partner profiles
Effective communication through phone/e-mail with inquiries from our partners (product questions, booking management, brochure/marketing collateral requests, etc.)
Become a brand ambassador for both Hurtigruten Expeditions and Hurtigruten Norway; help inspire our partners by hosting webinars, attending in-person agency trainings, consumer events, national tradeshows, FAM trips as needed
Coordinate events such as ship visits, FAM trips, regional product launches
Qualify and manage our Travel Advisor Reduced Rate program
Monitor and engage with our Hurtigruten Travel Partners - Americas private Facebook group
Maintain and update the master Americas conference/events calendar
Some ‘cold contacting’ to new/underdeveloped accounts to seek out new partnership opportunities, support with training, inquiries
Other duties as required and assigned

Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 years of relevant sales experience
Additional Knowledge & Skillsets
Strong knowledge of travel industry
Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Zoom
Proficient in Salesforce
Confident speaking in front of a crowd
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Must have a valid passport and be able to travel within the USA/Canada, and internationally as required
Performance Indicators (metrics, KPIs, qualitative assessments)

This is a remote position and may require some travel.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range for this position is $27 to 31 per hour.
