General Summary
We are looking for an experienced senior business development manager to grow Igloo’s presence within the UK market across stationery (colouring, activity, craft), party and toy departments. This will span our top four customers through to specialist suppliers for these categories. This is an unrivalled opportunity for an individual to take ownership and build a stationery, toy and party division for an established business.
Key responsibilities
- Full target and P&L accountability
- Overall management of all designated accounts
- Account development through relationships and retailer opportunities
- Utilising customer reporting and tender interfaces to maximise revenue
- Analysis of retailer sales data to identify additional opportunities and initiatives
- Work with the UK sales director and deputy sales director to identify and create products for each category
- Deliver first class customer service to each account responsibility
- Develop strong working relationships and communication with all internal departments

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years’ sales experience working within a stationery, toy or party market
- Strong relationships with buyers across any of the above categories, preferably within the grocery and discounter sector
- Exceptional time management skills
- Proven forecasting ability both financially & stock management
- Excellent presentation and customer relationship skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and forward thinking
- Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Excellent range & category planning skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills
- Ability to create and implement promotional plans
- Positive can-do attitude
