Reports to: Royalties Manager
Location: Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, Holborn, London
Working pattern: Flexible home working up to three days per week
Department: Royalties
Salary: £26,000 per annum

General Summary

We are currently recruiting a forward-thinking individual to assist in the development and running of the Royalties function within a fast-growing and competitive leader in publishing.

Key responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain contractual data and payments, to ensure accurate calculation of royalty earnings
  • Create, analyse and work from reports
  • Process Third-Party statements and payments
  • Liaise with clients and agents regarding statement queries
  • Become a key team member in a constantly changing industry, communicating with teams across multiple departments and offices
  • Assist on projects to help improve and grow the business
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Forward-thinking and focused on continuous improvement and development
  • Friendly, approachable and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong maths skills and an ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of the publishing industry advantageous but not essential
  • Must be comfortable managing phone calls and being able to build positive ongoing relationships with our authors, illustrators and agents
  • Basic knowledge of Excel would be highly desirable
  • Prior experience with Biblio advantageous but not required
  • Must be comfortable with a mix of team working and working remotely, including being part of wider team across Bonnier Books UK.
