The focus of your role
We’re looking for a Senior Aerospace Design Engineer (f/m/d) to employ for Donauwörth within our global business unit Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Services (DEMS). In this role you will work within the design team to deliver best-in-class engineering design for the aerospace industry.
What you’ll do
- Create concepts and detailed designs of Helicopter’s products and components with focus on equipment integration and airframe development
- Use CATIA V5 to develop concepts and SAP and Windchill as PLM software
- Analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products
- Communicate and collaborate with the team and with the client about technical decision and work progress
- Verify requirements compliance and apply relevant industrial standard
- Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of products and components
- Coaching the new commers
What you’ll bring
- BSc/MSc in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years work experience in the aerospace industry
- Good Knowledge of Catia V5 design, material selection, manufacturing processes
- Experience with Catia V6 and 3D Experience is a plus
- Interface definition, Interface management
- Knowledge of aerospace processes, requirements and methods
- High motivated team player, with interest in working in multicultural teams
- EU/NATO nationality only
- Fluent in English and German
