We are looking for a financial reporting valuation specialist to join our team!

Your role will be focused on financial reporting valuation topics and IFRS accounting implications in connection with fair valuing acquired net assets in acquisitions and business combinations. You are familiar with various valuation methods, International Valuation Standards (IVS), IFRS guidance for fair value and execution of purchase price allocations under IFRS. Familiarity with IFRS impairment requirements and experience with impairment modelling is a benefit for this position.

In this role you are expected to

• Lead client projects and engagement teams in execution of the various financial reporting valuation engagements
• Be responsible for the outcomes of our engagements internally and externally
• Collaborate with all lines of services within PwC (e.g. audit, advisory, tax, consulting)
• Contribute actively to the business and service development as well as quality
• Follow actively developments in financial reporting valuation and IFRS as applicable
• Develop knowledge for our people in a mix of technical valuations skills, IFRS and industry expertise

We expect you to have

• Several years of previous commercial, client-facing valuation work experience and in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of valuation concepts
• Experience of carrying out valuations for different purposes (M&A transactions, financial reporting etc.).
• Technical accounting knowledge in IFRS 3 Business Combinations and other relevant IFRS standards
• Good communication skills in English and Finnish (both written and verbal)
• Excellent team and project management working skills with uncompromising commitment to deliver with quality
