Product Designer

  • Applications are considered on a rolling basis
  • Helsinki

At Smartly.io, the developers working most closely with the platform make the design decisions, and your job as a product designer is to scale these design decisions. The trick is that you need to be able to do it without necessarily being able to always be present and determining all the smallest things. In practice this means creating different style guides, and getting the developers familiar with and comfortable using them.

You will be working on a tool that end users are going to be using for 8 hours of their day, meaning you will get a lot of feedback from the global user base, and you will have a heavy influence on a key tool for the end users.

Their platform manages billions of ad impressions each month for the largest advertisers in the world, resulting in lots of interesting technical challenges, such as "How can we quickly build analytics reports from 1B+ rows of statistics data?" And "How do we make a fast and intuitive UI to create 100+ A/B tests?"

Being part of Smartly.io means embracing their culture, and the Triple-H title that comes along with it - being a Humble Hungry Hunter! This means being ambitious and going for your goals, hungry to learn and do more, but still staying humble while doing so.
