As a Hotel Controller, you will control and manage all the aspects related to the Hotel Cost Control, providing an expert financial point of view and contributing to proactively driving business results through analysis and reporting.

Duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
Responsible for financial reports concerning the hotel operation and results onboard.
Must be able to explain financial outcomes.
Compiles financial reports as needed.
Fully acquitted with Power BI reports and able to explain the results, producing back up information and documentation.
Supervises the entire loading operation inside the storerooms and on the pier.
Receives and verifies merchandise received as per PO and as stated on the invoices.
Fully responsible in compiling the loading report and communicating it to all managers onboard and head office.
Responsible for checking all quantities, quality, and specifications after the loadings, in order to be confirmed in the system in collaboration with the Storekeeper.
Conduct frequent inspections of highly perishable merchandise and seeks advice and support from the galley team if uncertain.
Picking POC: Overseeing ordered and review requisitions before issuing.
Fully accountable for the day-to-day for the accuracy of inventories, appropriate FIFO rotation, vegetable/fruit sanitation practices, issuance and charges, cleanliness and Public Health standards are followed.
Demonstrates proper operation of all equipment to his staff, including personnel assigned which are not permanently assigned to the storerooms to ensure a safe working environment.
Will spot check the garbage segregation and ensure that all personnel follow it.
Maintain and ensure that Public Health standards and regulations are always followed upon on board.
Qualifications / Experience
Previous experience as Hotel Controller in the cruise industry is desirable
Previous experience with MMS, Fidelio, POS systems
Strong accounting, finance and analytical skills
Problem solving oriented
Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and equipment
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to interact with senior-level management and owner representatives
Fluent in spoken and written English
