Koenigsegg is now offering a unique opportunity to become a key-player in the development of ground-breaking technology and continue our legacy of staying ahead of the curve. As our new Power Electronics Engineer, you would be working on developing our famous 6-phase inverter called “David”.
Your main area of responsibility will revolve around the electrical aspect of the inverter, focusing on circuit designs and the specifications and requirements, using the latest SiC technology. Another important aspect will be to continuously follow up on the development made by preparing- and executing various tests on the inverter as well as defining requirements for various suppliers.

The Electronics team that you would become part of is overall responsible for designing and developing software, electronic control units (ECUs) and HW for the inverters. You can expect to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
You will be based at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden and report directly to the High Voltage & Battery team lead.
We are looking for someone that has previous experience of developing high-voltage inverters, preferably within the automotive industry. We expect you to have a good understanding of EMC requirements and challenges for automotive applications as well as basic understanding of control theory and motor control algorithms. You should also have some previous experience with testing high-voltage systems.
