Koenigsegg is now offering a unique opportunity to become a key-player in the development of ground-breaking technology and continue our legacy of staying ahead of the curve. As our new Power Electronics Engineer, you would be working on developing our famous 6-phase inverter called “David”.

Your main area of responsibility will revolve around the electrical aspect of the inverter, focusing on circuit designs and the specifications and requirements, using the latest SiC technology. Another important aspect will be to continuously follow up on the development made by preparing- and executing various tests on the inverter as well as defining requirements for various suppliers.

In this role, you would also:

  • Work cross-functionally with mechanical engineers to ensure the most efficient packaging that is compliant with high voltage, EMC and thermal requirements as well as with software engineers to support them on developing reliable software
  • Support design reviews and DFMEAs
  • Act as support and mentor to young engineers.

The Electronics team that you would become part of is overall responsible for designing and developing software, electronic control units (ECUs) and HW for the inverters. You can expect to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

You will be based at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden and report directly to the High Voltage & Battery team lead.
