We are looking for a dedicated training manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Drei team based in Hamburg and Heide. By joining us, you will be a key player in setting up a comprehensive education and training concept and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
As a training manager you will set up various training concepts for different professional groups in order to meet the demand for skilled workers. In individual projects, you will work together with different training providers, such as research institutes, universities and innovative industry partners. Additionally, you will maintain a close exchange with our colleges in Sweden in order to determine the knowledge required for the individual vocational profiles. Furthermore, you have the ability to shape Northvolt's setup in Germany and grow a lighthouse project for Germany's energy and industrial transition from an early phase.
About the team
The team is driving the set up of Northvolt’s gigafactory ecosystem in Germany. The team works closely with the operational and functional teams (both technical and business related) within Northvolt to drive strategic initiatives and establish needed partnerships. This means working in a highly cross-functional set up and acting as an intrapreneur in a fast-paced environment. An outstanding impact and learning curve in this position is guaranteed. You will be reporting to Manager Public Program.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibility for establishing training concepts for different educational backgrounds and various positions

Contribute to setting up a battery pilot line

Establish and coordinate educational partnerships around our gigafactory deployment and the ecosystem connected to it

Hands-on project management to ensure partnerships and projects can be successfully released

Support implementation of regional development initiatives

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have:

A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Chemistry, Engineering, Production)

3+ years working experience in the University or the Industry

Excellent English written and oral skills

Track record of successful achievements for example: Supervision of students, development of curricula, hands-on shopfloor experience
