Quality Manager (Revolt)

We are looking for a driven Quality HSE Specialist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Revolt team based in Skellefteå and Västerås. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing the Quality and HSE organisation and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

You will be responsible for defining, producing, and implementing management systems to achieve compliance with Quality, Environmental and Safety standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO4500) across the operations of Northvolt Revolt.

The daily work within this role includes assuring quality, developing and implementing of quality and safety management systems that meet ISO requirements. In addition support the projects with safety related assessments and guidance.

In general you have a long experience in Quality leadership and capability building. You have been part in driving quality and safety in challenging production development projects with high demands on industrialisation and scaling. You will be part of the Revolt organization working closely with the R&D teams , engineering , projects as well as operations teams.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

  • Sets, develops and leads quality strategy, objectives and target in alignment with the Revolt objectives.
  • Assure Quality of processes fulfils the Revolt requirements.
  • Take ownership of identifying and closing potential gaps to retain excellent results in all relevant Quality, Environmental and Safety standards
  • Create templates and processes for different departments of Revolt and take ownership in ensuring continuous adherence to set processes
  • Identify and suggest improvements to our project methods, processes, and standards as well as process and project quality control on a continuous basis.
  • Define, suggest, and maintain structures and processes across the operations of Revolt to meet Quality, Safety and environmental standards
  • Coordinate Interfaces with different stakeholders (Internal, Partners and Auditors)

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably specialization in Quality or Safety
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management or similar field
  • Proven knowledge about relevant Quality & Safety standards, specifically ISO
  • Experience of working in manufacturing or process industry
  • Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work in a high profile and international environment
  • High drive and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure Quality Management System is understood and implemented correctly

Bonus points for :

  • Strong Project Management skills
  • English fluency, Swedish is a plus
  • Certification in Six Sigma is a plus (Yellow Belt/Black Belt/Green Belt)
  • Experience from working with Recycling operations is a plus
