We are looking for a Nordic based, Swedish speaking SAP ABAP Developer to work at the Swedish defense IT department who is taking greater steps in digitalization together with Capgemini. Here, in addition to SAP and the upcoming S / 4 project, we have several ongoing projects in Governance, HR, Logistics, IT and finance with a large team of consultants from all parts of Capgemini. As SAP ABAP Developer, you have a chance to become part of this enormous collective competence that really makes a difference in building our country’s future defense capability.
Your main responsibilities in this role would be:
Collaborate with users and functional consultants in gathering business requirements, analyze and translate into detailed technical design.
Develop RICEFW objects in compliance with best practices and extensively support with incident management including investigation & resolution of issues within agreed SLA
Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) in implementing new solutions, extend existing solutions and processes.
Being responsible for the solution throughout the whole project cycle from requirements to go-live.
What you will bring with you:
Demonstrated experience of 4-5 years in ABAP/4 and OO ABAP programming
Extensive experience in Interactive ALV reports, Smartforms / Adobeforms, Implicit & Explicit Enhancements, User-exits, BADI, BAPI, RFC, BDC.
Preferable knowledge with IDOCs, Webdynpro and SAP ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) but not mandatory
Skilled in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS or React JS, REST API.
Experience in SAP Fiori development mainly Front-end but also preferably has some good understanding about ODATA service, SAP NetWeaver Gateway and CDS views.
Experience from working with many processes and an extensive amount of documentation, taking ownership in parallel.
Ability to understand and analyze complex information and share it in effective and clear communications.
Ability to take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments.
Must be fluent in Swedish and English (Spoken & written).
The Swedish defense IT is mainly located in Enköping. If you wish, we will offer you the ability to work from Stockholm (Gärdet) for about 2 days a week in this role. We and the client also give our consultants, when needed and when the business allows for it, the option to work remote.
