About the role:
Represents the company in relations with the institutions empowered with the supervision and application of environmental legislation.
Lead and coordinate the audits, create an action plan and ensure compliance.
Harmonize the safety culture in the region according with the corporate standards and Guidelines
Collaborates closely with the Health & Safety Management, to ensure the implementation and execution of projects initiated in the company.
He/she is responsible for initiating periodic and annual training for all employees.
Coordinate and follow up all the open findings from the Safety Committee, Internal Audits, customer Audits, accidents and near misses in the company.
Guarantee the implementation of all the HSE initiatives, campaigns, trainings for Capgemini Romania
Support, coordinate and analyze occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene and appropriate environmental regulations and laws and recordkeeping for completeness and consistency.
Assist line managers with interpretation and implementation of all facets of risk management work.
Regularly carries out safety walks in the company buildings and develops action plans to eliminate or reduce the risks generated by the identified non-conformities.
Weekly/Monthly/Annually reporting in electronic format/filing regarding on waste management, according to the legislation.
Guarantee the competence of our external companies and/or suppliers, having a record of the suppliers, trainings and follow up the projects.
Incident Investigations: Provide “first point of contact” response should an incident occur.
Coordinate with Risk Management Team and location to ensure incident investigations are completed in a timely manner and that follow-up action is taken and learning's shared.
Provide SHE mindset to the organization, demonstrated by frequent and consistent communication about the importance of safety & risk management efforts and provide SHE technical proficiency to Capgemini locations as demonstrated by the implementation of high-quality safety programs and informed consultation. Assist with crisis management activities as required.
Audit locations through the performance of safety and health surveys and environmental monitoring using industrial hygiene instruments to ensure employee safety and health (examples include air monitoring for gases, vapors and dusts and and noise monitoring)
Maintain monitoring equipment and supplies. Perform calibration of equipment for field use and instruct on equipment utilization
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 3 years working experience in a HSE position
3+ years of relevant experience (Safety, SSM, PM)
SSM certification (with a minimum of 240 hours)
English level: advanced
Responsible Environment certificate (would be a advantage).
Waste Management Specialist (would be a advantage).
Decision making and problems solving ability.
Excellent communication skills.
Result oriented and ability to resolve conflicts.
Minimum B2 in English.
Knowledge of standard ISO 45001
Multi-task oriented with above average organizational skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
