Your role
You will contribute to the development of efficient thermal system for future electrified vehicles as well as to the development of methodologies enabling virtualization of the development process. To do that, you will use semi-physical models to identify the effective system design/control changes and moreover, further develop the given model(s). You will:

  1. Research, propose and evaluate thermal management system design and control strategies to achieve vehicle performance targets by use of the given model;
  2. Enrich the existing simulation model to enlarge capabilities and improve accuracy;
  3. Analyze the real life vehicle use data (EU customers), draw conclusions and propose system improvements;
  4. Monitor related topic activities of other relevant R&D teams, collaborate and align with them;
  5. Prepare regular progress reports of your activity to project leader & internal stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Master degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Thermodynamics engineer with specific interest in thermal management, BEV components & system optimization;
  • Open personality and able to work independently in a multi-cultural business environment;
  • Highly motivated and self-driven to propose system improvements based on own research and data analysis;
  • Structured, analytical way of working, comfortable working with the data and with ability to draw conclusions based on facts;
  • Experience with CAE SW such as MATLAB/SIMULINK, GT-SUITE is a merit;
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking), able to summarize and explain complex technical information in a clear and visual way.
