The People Process & Change Specialist will be responsible to manage the overall processes and continuous improvement efforts within our People Function. You will work with other team members to support multiple complex, high-visibility process excellence/improvement initiatives that span multiple countries and specialisms across the People Function. This role will champion all aspects of best operational practice including process review, implementation of continuous improvement approaches and simplification of our employee user experience.

Skills & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a change agent to drive innovation and process improvements across the People function.

  • Support the delivery of improvement projects by analysing operational performance, seeking effectiveness and efficiency improvements through innovation and continuous improvement

  • Partnering with the People team and business to ensure that process enhancements are effective and embedded into working practice.

  • Leading change while coaching people in continuous improvement methodologies.


  • Overall responsibility for the governance of People processes, process maps, documentation, knowledgebase documentation and intranet/SharePoint ensuring that all relevant systems are kept up to date.

  • Implement and manage design methodology, approvals, version control, change control and documentation are standardised and consistently applied.

  • Responsible for maintaining up to date process inventory, and all process collateral, including end user guides, FAQs, training manuals, standard operating procedures.

  • Identification of ongoing process improvements in line with a “Lean” methodology to ensure continuous performance improvement. Partner with the People and business to enhance processes, systems, and services.

Change Management:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities. Leverage a change management methodology process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.

  • Support communication efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.

  • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

  • Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements, develop communication/ training tools to embed change projects as necessary,

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the People teams, and key stakeholders as required in the wider People Function, Finance, D&T etc.

Key Skills

  • Lean Six Sigma specialist (Black Belt)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

  • Strong business acumen, good collaboration skills and an effective team player

  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


  • Business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution development in a cross-functional or matrix environment

  • Prior experience managing change initiatives including knowledge of planning models and methodology within a People Function.

  • Experience in automation methodologies, continuous process improvement and change management, project management

  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team
