We are pursuing one of the most promising and challenging battery technologies aiming to be at the forefront of battery technology development. To support our achievement of this we identify that Machine Learning will play a key role in optimising the hundreds of parameters we are phased with and deepening our understanding. We believe that a strong collaboration between talented battery scientists (in all its broadness) and machine learning scientists will both fast-track and ensure a superior product. This is the case now as for our development of new chemistries in the future. For you as a machine learning scientist, being absorbed in our core development means that you will get your models verified with data as fast as we can generate them. Moreover, you will constantly need to learn and absorb ideas from the remaining R&D organization with complementary skills.

We are looking for an exceptional data science professional to lead our existing Machine Learning team. As an R&D Manager, you will drive large-scale impact for Morrow from week one and as such must have a well-rounded skill set including an excellent background within either machine learning or battery science, keen business acumen and strong leadership traits.

We’re interested in experimenting with new innovative ideas on parametrization, modelling, and theoretical inputs. This is applied to novel datasets so we are looking for you to bring ingenious modelling improvement strategies to the team.

If you have sharp analytical skills with a passion for deriving new insights from vast amounts of data, solving unique challenges and leveraging machine learning algorithms we can offer you a highly collaborative, values-driven environment in a young company with a vision to be a world-leading partner for accelerating the green energy shift.
