POSITION SUMMARY
Arelion (formerly Telia Carrier) provides a full suite of networking solutions, including DIA/IPT, Wave, Ethernet, Cloud Access, and DDOS services to enterprises with a global (data center, cloud, and WAN site) network footprint. The North American Enterprise Sales Director will be responsible for leading a team of (8) experienced high performance Account Managers with a primary focus on adding new customer logos located in the US and Canada, with some growth coming from Arelion’s existing enterprise customer base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Grow Arelion’s North American Enterprise customer base and consistently deliver against quarterly MRC/revenue targets * Grow Arelion’s North American Enterprise customer base and consistently deliver against quarterly MRC/revenue targets * Implement sales methodologies and repeatable processes to support sustained growth based on the Arelion Enterprise Sales strategy * Experience in working within the Agent Channel community, as well as the Direct Sales model (“Hybrid” approach based on customer preference) * Consistent PR and marketing support activities to elevate visibility of Arelion brand and services in the North American market. * Work closely with executive team to provide market and product feedback across Marketing/Operations/Products organizations. * Strong management skills with the ability to attract, hire, and retain a highly motivated and talented sales team. * § Develop and maintain executive level relationships with key customers. * § Ability to understand and support customer requirements and manage high level negotiations. * § Attention to detail as it relates to contract development, deal margin, sales processes, and procedures. * § Build a results driven culture of accountability and transparency. * § Strong customer focus, well organized, and responsive. * § Collaboration with other sales regions directors within Arelion for global account management and cross regional support. * Take all reasonable efforts aimed at creation of a positive environment and image in telecommunication community * Participation in various customers’ events, including seminars, trade fairs, presentations, etc.
