This is where you come in. As head of Content Marketing, you will have to full mandate to drive the content marketing program and efforts that centers on creating, publishing, and distributing content for our selected target audiences with the goal of attracting new customers by attracting, engaging, and converting to qualified opportunities.

The role of Content Marketing is critical for DigitalRoute’s continued business growth. It plays a central role in the marketing team, and requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills where others will rely on your work every single day.

The star player we are looking for loves tackling and taking ownership of strategic questions and is prolific doer with a hands-on approach to writing and creating.

What you'll do ****
You will be accountable for leading the development of the Content Marketing strategy and plan, as well as the execution including resource requirements and management thereof.
Your key responsibilities consist of:

  • Ownership of the content marketing plan, content topic strategy, and editorial calendar
  • Deliver content intended for omnichannel execution from DigitalRoute’s homepage to social channels, through partner channels, as blogs, visual content, and premium content assets like tools, eBooks, or webinars etc.
  • Creating (minimum) 2-4 content resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.)
  • Setup and manage content hub including internal and external resources (writers, publishers)
  • Drive the development and publication of customer references and cases
  • Collaborating with Campaign and Activation, Communication, and Segment Marketing leads to support the execution of the campaign plans
  • Collaborating with brand, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the performance the performance of the content assets with a data driven approach, seeking continuous improvements to maximize ROI
  • Continuously monitor competitive campaign activities, seek best practice, how to differentiate, to aggressively outperform competition.
  • Assess requirements of the Content Marketing plan including scope/deliverables/timelines, milestones, estimates to actual costs and invoicing. Document and timely flow of information with key stakeholders including communicating updates if there is a change in project statement of work, schedule, or estimate.

What you'll bring

  • BA/BS degree, and experience from cloud and SaaS businesses, from marketing to ideally sales and product
  • Strategic thinking. Ability to drive big ideas aligned to company long term goals and growth ambition throughout the content marketing plan
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as digital channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • Experience working with global teams and external partners, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • A passion for metrics and data to influence decisions; experience using reporting/dashboard tools. Experience with Marketing automation, CRM systems, etc.
  • Exceptional project management skills coupled with a meticulous desire to manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Self-starter with high energy, “can do” personality and desire to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • An enthusiastic team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
