We are looking for a dedicated and driven Business Analyst - IT and Digitalization to join us in our mission to contribute to build the world’s greenest battery. The role is a part of our passionate Revolt Ett team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be part of building the first in-house full recycling flow in the world. Recovery and effective recycling of end-of-life batteries is key to closing the loop on batteries and to achieve a minimal carbon footprint.
The construction of Europe's largest recycling facility for batteries in Skellefteå is ongoing and will start its production process to separate out valuable metals for reuse in battery production during 2023. The goal is to source 50% of the raw materials needed for cell production from recycling by 2030 and therefore more recycling facilities are planned at site. So, forget about everything you thought you knew about working in the industry, this is going to be completely different!
About the job
You will be responsible for driving the IT agenda for the Revolt Ett site, working closely with the Operations team ensure that they are getting the support needed. You will have responsibilities in the complete lifecycle of the IT projects; from gathering the requirements and setting up projects all the way to the user acceptance testing and end-user training.
We are a young company and have just started our IT/digitalization journey, which gives you a golden opportunity to be part of setting up the IT landscape. It also means that you will have to be able to work with many different IT solutions and get to learn a lot along the way. The main focus the coming year will be on getting Revolt Ett into the main enterprise systems of Northvolt, which are; ERP (Dynamics 365), PLM (Teamcenter) and Business intelligence tools (PowerBI). Your role will initially focus a lot on the ERP implementation and continuous improvement support needed.
You will be part of the local Revolt Ett Operations team, but you will have to work closely with both the local Northvolt Ett IT team as well as the central Revolt IT team.
You will have an important role in the development of our IT and digitalization strategy and will get the opportunity to join a start-up team in one of the most exciting and fast-growing industries today. To succeed in the role, you should be flexible, driven, structured and can act decisively. You are pedagogical and have the ability to arouse commitment. You will be working in a cross-functional team and will be reporting to the Production Manager.
About the team
You will work within the Revolt Ett Operations team driving the IT agenda throughout all business areas, ensuring efficient processes and enabling our growth. You will collaborate with colleagues from the Revolt- and Northvolt Ett IT & Digitalization teams, and your colleagues from our internal departments like Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Process Engineering, QC and Finance.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for gathering, detailing and structure requirements from the local organization and communicate this to the IT organization in a good way
- Developing and run trainings for users across various tools and systems
- Planning and executing user acceptance testing for new functionality
- Ensuring that core Business processes are documented and aligned within the organization
- Creating reports related to KPI’s, adoption, improvements and similar
- Work with data gathering and presentation to support business decisions
- Managing communication with key stakeholders including developing reports and dashboards to measure project status

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
- A university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- 3-5 years’ work experience from an IT & Digitalization related field
- Solid understanding of software implementation life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles
- Passion for solving problems with technology in simple yet innovative ways
- Familiar or experience from any of these systems;
- ERP – Dynamics, SAP or others
- BI tools – PowerBI or similar
- Atlassian suite – Confluence, Jira etc.
- Siemens Teamcenter
Bonus points for:
- Experience from leading IT projects (from a business perspective) from start to finish
- Experience in Dynamics 365 finance and operations/supply chain
- Experience from setting up and executing User Acceptance test plans and creating end-user training material
- Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
