About the job
We are now looking for a UX designer to join our product organization. Your role is to understand the needs of users, discover their problems and find ways to solve them in ways that are functional, useable, and delightful. You will work alongside product managers, UX designers and engineers from product discovery through to delivery, launch and review.
Your role is critical because you will help our team to understand the holistic picture, listen to their needs and be the link between the strategic decisions we have already taken and those that come up. Your previous experience within tech is valuable when we find creative solutions that save time and reduce risks. You will uncover opportunities and problems for our tech teams, working in the office or remotely.
Some of your responsibilities:
- Add business value to Zmarta by contributing to outcomes through design thinking and other methods to create a user experience that is functional, useable, reliable, and delightful.
- Conduct generative user research to identify key insights and opportunity spaces.
- Develop solutions within those opportunity spaces including user flows, prototypes & wireframes.
- Conduct evaluative user testing on proposed solutions e.g. A/B tests.
- Complete the UI on the winning solutions and work with our talented engineering teams to ensure they are implemented correctly.
- Assess the performance of the solutions and iterate to improve.
- Share knowledge on design methods, tools, and trends with other colleagues.
- Be a passionate advocate of user centricity.

Kvalifikationer
About you
We are looking for you, who is a natural problem solver that is used to thinking strategically, looking for the bigger picture with a business mindset. You have a genuine interest in understanding users and the ability to present a coherent narrative from multiple data points.
We believe you:
- Have 2+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, preferably in the areas of financial services, insurance or similar.
- Are a real team player, positive and supportive to others. Experienced in working in cross functional teams.
- Are a problem solver with ideas to challenge the ordinary, together with the drive to bring them to life in the service of our users.
- Are structured in your way of working and proud to deliver with quality.
- Are familiar with the cultures of both business and software engineering and can adapt your communication styles for both these groups.
- Are fluent in both Swedish and English, particularly used to running research and workshops in Swedish

Remote or working from home?
Of course, Zmarta have realised that working both remotely from home AND in the office are valuable. That is why we offer a combination of both. Having said that, the role of a UX designer is an important and central one that delivers a lot of impact and so may require more time in the office in Ängelholm working with the team, as well as occasional travel to our offices in Jönköping and Stockholm. You will need to create relationships to work together with all the relevant teams. If you think this sounds fun, then we would definitely like to meet you!
