Operation Business Architect

We are in the midst of a transformation with implementing Salesforce across our Nordic functions. We are also on a journey implementing Scaled Agile Framework ways of working. Therefore, we want to strengthen our capabilities and are seeking Business Architect competence in our Operations Transformation team. This is the opportunity to make a true impact on both business deliverables and how we are working – to participate in driving our change. ​

The purpose is to drive business development from our company’s strategy into optimized, improved processes within Salesforce and other target architecture solutions. Furthermore, you will participate in ensuring Operational readiness for the changes with good business design and customer-centric end-to-end process overview. In this role you will be representing the Operative function in an Agile Release Train (ART) with our team of Product Owners and Business Analysts. ​ As a Business Architect, you will collaborate with the team translating Epics into Features and User stories.

​Together with the team you will coach the business within process design to ensure an end-to-end approach and challenge the status quo of current process design and existing solutions so that we can gain most value from the transformation. The purpose is to ensure we have solid business and technological alignment, high-quality process definitions & optimization and best practises within governance & change management. You have competence to utilize good business design tools when working with requirements and strive to find the optimal approach to business and solution designs. ​

​In the Business Architect role your success and outcomes depend on various stakeholders also outside your operational team. You will be working collaboratively with IT, commercial, collections, risk management, and many other experts across the bank to gain optimal solutions with all dependencies identified. ​

Areas of responsibility and deliveries:

  • Translate strategic objectives and goals into business solutions (Epics, Features, User stories)
  • ​Engage all key stakeholders to secure the solutions meet requirements and dependencies are identified with end-to-end perspective.​
  • Coach and challenge the business to deliver most optimal solutions from customer’s as well as bank’s perspective
  • Keep documentation repository up-to date​
  • Ensure risk management and that solutions meet Compliance and legal requirements.​

We expect that you are able to travel across Nordics to engage with stake holders, facilitate/participate to workshops and for learning/training purposes

  • Business Design & business development skills​
  • Knowledge of customer/partner journeys, processes ​and capabilities
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of technical solutions​
  • High level of proficiency with Teams, PowerPoint and other Office tools​
  • Solid in written and spoken English. Proficiency in one of the Nordic languages is required ​


  • University degree (bachelor or master) within relevant field
  • Experience from similar role and/or business development, process optimization and change/project lead.​
  • Ability to work in complex environments
  • Experience working with Agile framework (SAFe)​
  • Knowledge within financial industry is an advantage​
  • Working in a Nordic/international set-up seen as beneficial​
  • Salesforce experience seen as beneficial​
