We are looking for 3D Generalists/Lighters to join the team! If you think you have what it takes to be a Pirate, we want to hear from you!
At ILP, the 3D Generalist is a versatile role that requires skills in multiple disciplines of the VFX process. To thrive in this role, you should have a passion for shot work and solve problems on your own initiative to create the best image possible. You are specialised in artistically and technically lighting and rendering shots while maintaining the ability to take on tasks across other skill sets, when and where needed, such as modelling, layout, FX, animation and compositing.
A good understanding of the VFX pipeline and previous experience in feature or TV work is a plus. Great communication skills are a must.
In return, ILP offers a real sense of ownership of shots and encourages creative and technical input during the decision making process. This culture encourages everyone to go the extra mile while feeling both valued and essential in delivering spectacular, high quality images to our clients.
We currently use Houdini for most scene assembly, Arnold for rendering and Nuke for compositing. That said, we always prefer general VFX skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly over any specific knowledge of software.
