What do a designer's days look like at Qvik?
We have been a design-oriented consultancy company since the early days, with a mission to build the best consumer experiences and successful business regardless of device.
No two work days at Qvik are the same - and that's the beauty of it! This variety is created by customers’ different circumstances and goals. Sometimes we help them by focusing on creating and validating early concept ideas, at other times it is our responsibility to improve the user experience and profitability of services that have been in operation for years.
Your days are usually spent on a wide range of customer work, but sometimes you can also focus on things like mentoring other designers or assisting in sales and marketing.
Are you the one, a new Qvikie?
As a product designer you can focus solely on drafting prototypes or creating visuals for customers, but you don’t have to. We value individuals and their strengths, and that’s why we want to give you tools to take your career in a direction that interests you and supports Qvik’s strategy. We hope you have a natural curiosity for personal development, too, whether in UX, UI, service design or something else in the design field. Besides being interested in learning new things, our designers have the courage to deal with the customer’s operational problems and the ability to incorporate the smartest methods into their work.
Previous experience in consultancy and consumer product development will help you move forward faster. We would like to see some examples from your portfolio of UX/UI-related projects as well as your work and/or service design duties at least for the past couple of years (2+). Our working language is English, but currently our customer projects require fluent communication skills in Finnish, too.
The people you work with will be from different backgrounds and have different strengths. This means that we cherish a culture of open-mindedness, equality and empathy toward all people. The salary for this position will be somewhere between €3000-6000/month + bonuses, depending on your skills and experience, and you will have the possibility to become a Qvik shareholder.
